Western Maine Pediatrics, 193 Main St., Norway, was recently notified that it was one of 10 practices in Maine to receive a 90 percent or greater score as part of the Healthy Maine 2010 project to bring children up to age 2 up to date on immunizations. The Western Maine Pediatric group received 91 percent. Shown are, front row, from left, Dr. Danielle Tran, Bevin Mackenzie, MA, Bonney Fogg, MA, and Kelly Strout, MA; back row, Dr. Kathleen Herlihy, Louise Fillebrown, RN, triage nurse, and Kitty Nelson, LPN. Not shown, Sam Adler, M.D. The process of recognizing practices achieving a 90 percent goal is part of the Maine Immunization Program’s process that evaluated children that were up to date on their DTap, Polio, MMR, and Hepatitis B immunizations.
