GRAY, Maine (AP) — A 19-year-old high school student has died of injuries after being struck by a pickup truck while he was walking along Route 202 in Gray.
The victim of the Monday night accident was identified as Nicholas Kennedy, a senior at Gray-New Gloucester High School.
Kennedy was transported by LifeFlight helicopter to Maine Medical Center, where he died.
No charges have been filed against the driver of the truck, who has been cooperating with police. The investigation is continuing.
