AUBURN – Lewiston-Auburn Community Little Theatre will hold auditions for Neil Simons’ “Lost in Yonkers” at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, April 13-14, at Great Falls Performing Arts Center.
The show is a touching yet funny saga of how families struggle through war. Hardship, comedy and family all come together when in 1942, when two young boys move in with their grandmother upstairs over her candy store.
Add to that mix a slightly crooked uncle and two slightly strange aunts and you get the first of Simons’ plays to receive the New York Drama Desk Award, the Tony and the Pulitzer Prize plus individual cast awards.
Show dates are June 19-28. Director is CLT veteran Dick Rosenberg.
