NEW VINEYARD – Rescuers responded to an all-terrain vehicle accident shortly after 8 a.m. Thursday on Pratt Mountain Road, a dirt road located off Barker Road.

A 65-year-old woman was seriously hurt in the incident. She was transported by LifeFlight of Maine to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, according to the Maine Wardens Service.

The woman was trapped under the machine according to intiial reports from the scene.

Wardens are continuing to investigate, a release issued Thursday afternoon stated.
