AUBURN – Rainbow Bicycle will hold a free clinic on basic bicycle maintenance from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

Topics will include changing flats, how to adjust brakes and shifters, and many basic safety and maintenance issues. The event will be geared to beginners and anyone interested in learning how to maintain a bicycle. Topics will include training tips for people interested in charity and group rides.

Tammy Mawhinney of Advanced Therapeutics will be on hand to offer free evaluations to anyone in attendance. Mawhinney specializes in integrated manual therapy, which can be helpful to cyclists with chronic pain issues.

There is no charge for the event and anyone is welcome to attend. The clinic will be held at Rainbow Bicycle, 945 Center St. For information, call 207-784-7576.
