LEWISTON – Cecile A. McClure, 92, of Lewiston, died Monday, April 20, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Lewiston, on May 10, 1916, a daughter of Albert and Eva Therrien Pratt. She attended St. Peter’s School prior to working for Lown Shoe as a fancy stitcher. She married Robert A. McClure on Oct. 28, 1939. She was a member of Holy Family Church. Special moments, for her, were spending time with her family.

She leaves three children, Richard McClure and his wife, Louise, of Georgetown, Texas, Janet McBane and her husband, John, of Auburn, daughter-in-law, Lucille McClure of Essex Junction, Vt., Michael McClure and his wife, Louise, of Lewiston; sisters, Georgette Giroux and Dolores Benoit, both of Lewiston; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband in 1976; a son, Robert B. McClure in 2007; granddaughter, Donna in 1966; and five brothers, Gregoire, Bernard, Jean-Paul, Robert and Dominic.
