Dear Sun Spots: Mexico High School class of 1949 is making plans for our 60th class reunion to be held in August.

We are in need of addresses for the following classmates: Lillian Arsenault Beaulieu, Rita Gallant Perry, Richard St. Hilaire and Lewis Harkness. My address is 8 Front St., Rumford. – Maxine Gilbert, Rumford.

Dear Sun Spots: On Feb. 20, I fell in my driveway. A young woman driving by stopped to help me. She was nice enough to call 911 from her cell phone. My wife did not get her name. I would like to thank her for her quick response.

Also, two young men stopped to help, they finished shoveling my driveway. I was in the hospital for three days, but now I’m on the mend, considering it could have been a lot worse.

There are still good people on the Earth. Thanks again for your help Miss, and the young men. – No Name, No Town.

• For Misty in Lisbon looking for KitchenAid mixer repair, M.D. in Oxford offers the following suggestion: “I had an older model Sunbeam Mixmaster stand mixer that needed a new switch, and I couldn’t find any shop in Maine that could make the repair.

“I called Sunbeam headquarters and was directed to Fixmaster, 190 North St., Salem, MA 01970. I called their shop at 978-745-0004, got directions on mailing the appliance, called back in a week to learn that it could be fixed, and then mailed a check for the bill and return postage.

“I got the mixer back in less than a week. I was very pleased with the quality and cost, as well as quick service. I don’t know if the shop repairs other brands or other small appliances, but a phone call would answer that question.

“Be sure to have the brand and model number of the appliance when you call.”
