YORK – Trevar Haefele netted five goals and added two assists to propel St. Dom’s to an 11-9 victory over York in boys’ lacrosse action Tuesday.

Ben Adams chipped in for the Saints (1-0) with three goals, while Matt Adams added two. Single tallies from Tim Day and Ryan Lussier completed the scoring. Cody Rodrigue made 10 saves to notch the win.

David Figioli led the way for York (0-1) with five goals, while Dylan DellaPasquel added two.

Oak Hill 4, Mtn. Valley 2

RUMFORD – Tony Vattaro registered a hat trick to propel Oak Hill to a 4-2 lacrossse victory over Mountain Valley.

Nick Flaherty also tallied for the Raiders (2-2) to complete the scoring. Tied at 1-1 after the first half, Vattaro sparked the Oak Hill rally, with a key assist from Caleb Fournier.

The Falcons (0-3) received goals from Anthony Rocray and Mick Taylor, while Austin Horne contributed with an assist. Fournier made 20 saves in net for Oak Hill, while Levi Paiandmi turned aside seven shots for Mountain Valley.

Baseball

Rangeley 2, Richmond 1

RICHMOND – Eric White ripped an RBI single in the seventh inning to lift Rangeley to a 2-1 victory over Richmond.

Ross Gordon led the Lakers (3-0) with a pair of hits, and also was credited with the win after shutting Richmond down in the seventh.

Josh Brown went the distance for Richmond (1-1), striking out six.

Softball

Richmond 6, Rangeley 3

RANGELEY – Allie Hammond hit a three-run double for Rangeley’s only runs in a 6-3 softball loss to Richmond.
