AUBURN – A Mass of Christian burial honoring the life of Michael J. DiRenzo was celebrated by the Rev. Brenden Harnett Tuesday at St. Philips Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish after prayers at the Dillingham & Son Memorial Chapel. During Mass, Mike’s son helped place the burial pall on his father’s casket. Mike’s grandson, Michael shared words of remembrance in honor of his grandfather as well as reciting a poem written by his mother, Linda DiRenzo in honor of her father.The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Mike’s wife, Marjorie and Mike’s daughter’s companion, Rick Jackson. Pallbearers were Coleman Coyne, Don MacMillan, Tony Lapore, Anthony, Vince and Michael DiRenzo. After the services all were invited to Marjorie’s home in Auburn.
