Public Theatre’s silent auction ends May 10
LEWISTON – The Public Theatre’s 16th annual silent auction will be wrapping up on May 10, coinciding with the last performance of theater’s final show of the season, “The Last Mass at St. Casimir’s” by Tom Dudzick.
This year’s event features more than 200 items from area businesses, local artists, and theater supporters, including original works of art, ski lift tickets, golf, tickets to arts events, and other great gifts. There are everyday items, from oil changes and grocery gift cards to spa treatments, yoga sessions, and massages. Up for bid are also a pair of tickets to the Red Sox vs Oakland A’s – July 8 at 7:05 p.m.
Red Sox Fans take note: Two tickets to the Boston Red Sox vs the New York Yankees are being raffled off as part of the Silent Auction Event. The game is at Fenway on June 9, at 7:05 p.m. These are excellent seats and raffle tickets are only $1 each or $5 for six chances.
The raffle and auction are open to the public. Bids may be placed or raffle tickets purchased through May 10 during box office hours, noon to 5 p.m. daily, and during performances. The Public Theatre is located at Lisbon and Maple streets in Lewiston. For more information about this event, call The Public Theatre at 782-2211.
