CHICAGO (AP) – The Chicago teenager who was arrested after dressing up like a police officer and going on patrol earlier this year is in trouble with the law again after allegedly dressing like an adult to steal a car from a dealership.

Chicago Police spokesman Roderick Drew says the 15-year-old donned a suit and went to the dealership to take a test drive.

Drew says an employee had to jump start the car, and when he left to return equipment, the boy drove off.

Drew says the boy crashed a short time later. He says the boy apparently tried to blend into the crowd that gathered by grabbing a stroller. Drew didn’t know if a child was inside.

The boy faces charges that include criminal trespass to a vehicle.
