TURNER – Graveside committal prayers honoring the life of Joan Pearl began with playing the song titled, “Sissy’s Song.” The Rev. Marion Marks presided during the committal at the Keen’s Mill Cemetery. Words of remembrance were shared by Joan’s granddaughter, MIchele Bachelder and Joan’s niece, Nancy Hawthorne who also read the poem written by Aunt Lorraine titled, “After Glow.” The concluding song, “Amazing Grace” was then played. Pallbearers were Brandon Alexander, Shane Pearl, Nick Coates, and Jeremy Meservey. A reception of fellowship was then held at the home of Bambi and Leland Bachelder in Turner. Arrangements by Dillingham & Son Memorial Chapel, Auburn.
