“This is the first year I brought my cart and I’m so glad I did,” said Dani Bertrand, Lewiston Post Office’s coordinator for the Stamp Out Hunger food drive, on Saturday as she collected food from Leeds Street. “Last year I came back with half a truck load of food. I bet we top last year.” Bertrand, who has been a postal carrier for 10 years, also helped coordinate the food drives in Lisbon, Sabattus and Livermore.
