TURNER – The Nezinscot Guild announces the hiring of Kevin Ellingwood as its Web communications director, in charge of Internet marketing and overseeing information technology.
Ellingwood brings eight years of experience in information technology back to The Nezinscot Guild, where he was previously employed as operations manager. Since 2001, he was the principal of Western Maine Computer Associates of South Paris and provided businesses in the Oxford Hills Region with a broad scope of IT services.
Ellingwood earned his degree in computer science from Central Maine Community College in 2001. He was a President’s List graduate and a member of Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society.
His first initiative in the new role will be developing and marketing the organization’s recently launched retail Web site.
The position was funded by a grant from The Great Bay Foundation, which supports nonprofit social enterprise projects, led by social entrepreneurs who foster self-reliance in disadvantaged individuals.
The Nezinscot Guild is a social purpose enterprise employing people with developmental disabilities.
