LEWISTON — The Lewiston Maineiacs are wheeling and dealing in advance of this year’s entry draft.
A report by French-language sports channel RDS and confirmed by Danick Paquette’s father, Lucien, on Facebook said Friday that Danick Paquette, along with Peter Delmas, Patrick Cusack and Dominic Savoie, are headed to the Quebec Remparts. In addition, it appears as though defenseman Garrett Clarke is on his way to Halifax.
In the Quebec deal, Lewiston would receive a pair of players and some draft picks, while one player and one draft pick would come back in the Clarke deal.
The Maineiacs are not officially commenting on any trades at this time.
