What happens to a yard sale when it rains? It becomes a garage sale. Advocates for Children of Lewiston held a three-location garage sale Friday. Cyndi McLeod, left, and her daughter Katelyn, 12, of Auburn, look over some books Friday. The sale continues Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon at 26 Summit St., 142 Madison St. and 58 Amberley Way, all in Auburn. Betsy Norcross-Plourde of Advocates for Children said, “Our goal is to sell everything and raise $4,000 to $5,000 for services for children and families.”
