AUBURN – Hardy, Wolf & Downing won its second game of the year in Auburn Suburban Little League baseball, defeating Auburn Firefighters. Isaiah Washington came within an out of pitching a complete game. Enjoying a good night at the plate were Bradley Morissette, Alex Brushwein, Jack Coyne and Kyle Romero. Firefighters had a solid pitching performance from Noah Perron, who entered the game in relief and shut down the HWD bats. Tyler Blanchard walloped a triple for AFF.

ASLL softball

AUBURN – Pat’s Pizza defeated Pepsi, 13-3, in an Auburn Suburban softball matchup.

Molly Murray and Calli Murray shared the pitching duties for Pepsi. Brittney Williams and Brooke Reynolds pitched for Pat’s, limiting Pepsi to three hits. Molly Murray, Cally Murray and Kylie Martin each had a hit for Pepsi.

For Pat’s, Jordyn Reynolds had three singles and four RBIs. Brooke Reynolds added three hits, including a home run, and two RBIs. Katie Williams had two hits and Danielle Rock and Brittney Williams each added one, with Williams plating two runs.

Apple Valley Babe Ruth

TURNER – Ryan Castonguay clouted three hits to lead Winthrop past Turner One, 10-9, in Apple Valley Babe Ruth League baseball. Zach Glazier added a single and a double for Winthrop (5-1). Travus Luce also singled in support of winning pitcher Jim Theriault. Jake Ouellette singled, doubled and tripled for Turner. Tyler Walton whacked a single and a double, with Brian Bedard belting two singles.
