Friday, June 12, folk artist Brooke Brown Saracino of Massachusetts, above, will perform at She Doesn’t Like Guthries in Lewiston. She has opened for Lori Mckenna, Cheryl Wheeler, Anaias Mitchell and Chris Pureka. Saracino is celebrating her sophomore, solo-produced and recorded album, “Strangers Story.” Also playing that night will be the band Like Bells. On Saturday, June 13, Port Veritas will host a poetry slam with special guests Denise Dill and Jessy Kendall. Port Veritas’ focus is to provide outlets for people of all ages to create and experience performance art of all kinds.
