Variety show
FRYEBURG – The Fryeburg Lovell VFW Auxiliary 6783 will hold its sixth annual variety show at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at the Lovell VFW Hall, corner of Route 93 and Smarts Hill Road. Admission is $6. Refreshments will be available.
Sunday service
BUCKFIELD – Trinity Lutheran Church, 34 Buckfield Road, South Paris, invites all to worship service at 9 a.m. Sunday, June 28. The service will be followed by coffee, refreshments and fellowship.
The annual worship service in the Finnish language will start at 11 a.m. with Pastor Henry Leino presiding.
The Healthy Living Group meets at the church at 12:30 p.m. every Wednesday and everyone is welcome. Call 743-6906 for more information.
Spanish camp
BRIDGTON – Spanish Camp will take place at the Bridgton Community Center for four weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays for grades three, four and five.
Classes will be held from 3 to 4:30 p.m. July 21, 23, 28, 30 and Aug. 4, 6, 11, 13. Cost is $70 a child. To register, call Lorraine at 647-3116. Registration deadline is July 14.
Bridge results
NORWAY – Norway Duplicate Bridge Club met June 19 in the Fare Share Building, Main Street. A Mitchell movement game was played. Finishing first in Flight A were: N/S, Mike Quinn and Luke Merry; second, Pam and Errol Libby, who were first in Flight B; third, Pete Cummings and Dick Allen; E/W, first, Richard Balian and Denny Raymond; second, Beverly Pelletier and Jim Dickens, first in Flights B and C; third, Marilyn and Richard Canton, second in Flights B and C.
Finishing second in Flight B were: N/S, Suzanne Andrews and Richard Worthington, first in Flight C; third, Kathy Feld and Carol Curran; E/W, Flight A, third, Elaine Dresser and Sue Farnum; Flight C, N/S, second, Cindy and Bob Kirchherr; Flight C, E/W, third, Arlen Riis and Bob Clifford.
