- The Captain Frank W. Hulett Post 1603, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Auburn, held a Flag Day ceremony with the children at Clover Manor Preschool on June 9. The children received a citation for their part in the program, recited the Pledge of Allegiance and marched through the home for the residents waving American flags. Following the ceremony, Kimberly St. Pierre was presented a plaque and citation in recognition of her outstanding performance with Clover Preschool children. The VFW has held Flag Day ceremonies with the children for more than four years. Arthur J. Roy, left, Americanism chairman, presented the plaque to St. Pierre, center, and Carl Douglass, post commander, presented the citation.
