AUBURN — A “(Re)Introduction to Judaism” will be offered by the adult education program at Temple Shalom Synagogue, 74 Bradman St., in July and August.

The class is open to non-Jews who may be curious about Judaism or are thinking about the possibility of conversion, and to Jews who would like to re-start their Jewish education. Also welcome are members of mixed-faith families who are trying to figure out how to blend different backgrounds in their life together.

The class will meet from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. for seven Tuesdays beginning July 14, at Temple Shalom. The class will be led by Rabbi Hillel Katzir, spiritual leader of Temple Shalom.

There is a registration fee of $25 for nonmembers of Temple Shalom, no registration fee for Temple members. All who plan to enroll should purchase the book that will be used in the course: “To Life! A Celebration of Jewish Being and Thinking” by Harold Kushner.

For more information or to register for the course, contact Temple Shalom at 786-4201 or by e-mail at temple6359@aol.com
