Arrests

Unless otherwise noted, these suspects are to be arraigned on Sept. 8 in Rumford District Court:

• Tiffany Burlingame, 24, Mexico, operating after suspension, 3:35 p.m. July 11. She was released on $300 unsecured bail and will be arraigned on Oct. 6 in Rumford District Court.
•  Kristy Wilson, 32, Dixfield, domestic assault, 11:14 a.m. July 6. She was released on $300 unsecured bail and will be arraigned on Aug. 4 in Rumford District Court.
•  Karl Blodgett Sr., 50, Rumford, disorderly conduct, 12:55 p.m. July 5. He was released on $300 unsecured bail.
•  Jessica Newton, 37, Peru, operating under the influence and operating after suspension, 12:35 a.m. July 5. She was released on $800 unsecured bail.

Accidents

July 8, 3:55 p.m. — A 1999 Dodge pickup operated by William Waite, 48, of Milton Township, rear-ended a 2001 Subaru Legacy operated by Rebecca Jasud, 40, of Dixfield on Route 108. Jasud was stopped in traffic waiting to turn left onto Railroad Street when the accident happened. Neck pain was the only injury reported. Damage to the Subaru was estimated at $7,000; to the Dodge, $500.

July 5, 12:40 a.m. — A 2006 Chevy Cobalt operated by Florence Lagasse, 63, of South Paris, struck a moose while traveling south on Route 232. She was not injured, but the injured moose had to be killed. Damage to the Chevy was estimated at $10,000.
