Wanted

Daniel Marshall, 24, of Naples and Norway is wanted on a warrant for failure to appear for criminal mischief.

Burglary

On July 5 at 5:53 p.m., Knox Street resident returned home to find door to residence open. Officers checked residence, and no items were reported stolen.

Accidents

On July 5 at 12:40 a.m., Florence Lagasse, 63, of South Paris was driving a 2006 Chevy Cobalt south on Route 232 when she struck a moose. The vehicle sustained $10,000 in damage to the front and top. No injuries to the driver, but the moose had to be dispatched.

On July 8 at 3:55 p.m., Rebecca Jasud, 40, of Dixfield was driving a 2001 Subaru Legacy south on Route 108 when she was stopped in traffic waiting to make a left-hand turn onto Railroad Street. William Waite, 48, of Milton Township was operating a 1999 Dodge pickup when he came from behind and his truck rear-ended Jasud’s car. Damage to Jasud’s vehicle was estimated at $7,000; to Waite’s vehicle, $500. Neck pain was the only injury reported.

Criminal mischief

On July 5 at 3:45 a.m., an officer on patrol found the benches knocked over and the separation fence knocked down at Hosmer Field Complex.

On July 6 at 10:17 p.m., an Essex Avenue resident reported about $250 damage to the passenger-side window of her vehicle. Incident is under investigation.

Theft

On July 8 at 6:30 p.m., a Rumford resident reported the theft of tattoo equipment. Case is under investigation.

Arrests/summons

On July 5 at 12:35 a.m., Jessica Newton, 37, of Peru was charged with operating under the influence and operating after suspension by Patrolman Michael Belanger. Newton posted $800 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 8.

On July 5 at 11:18 a.m., Norman Johnson, 38, of Rumford was charged with domestic assault by Patrolman Donald Miller. Johnson is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 4.

On July 5 at 12:55 p.m., Karl Blodgett Sr., 50, of Rumford was charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Lawrence Winson. Blodgett posted $300 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 8.

On July 6 at 11:14 a.m., Kristy Wilson, 32, of Dixfield was charged with domestic assault by Cpl. Matthew Noyes. Wilson posted $300 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 4.

On July 6 at 10:43 p.m., Richard Stickney, 26, of Rumford was charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Lawrence Winson. Stickney is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 8.

On July 10 at 7:49 a.m., Stanley Dennison, 40, of Rumford was charged for violation of conditions of release by Patrolman Donald Miller. Dennison is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 8.

On July 11 at 3:35 p.m., Tiffany Bulingame, 24, of Mexico was charged with operating after suspension by Patrolman K. Scott Mills. Bulingame posted $300 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 6.
