Stephen King program

LISBON FALLS — Rocky Wood, Australian freelance writer and chronicler of the life and writings of
Stephen King, will appear at 1 p.m. Monday, July 20, at the MTM Center, 18 School St., for a one-hour question and answer session. The event will be open to the public at no charge.

Wood is regarded as a leading expert on Stephen King’s works and
has co-authored four major books with world-wide distribution, as well
as authoring numerous articles, all on the life and times of King,
who is a Durham native and a graduate of Lisbon High School.

Wood will invite questions about his association with Mr. King, and will welcome any anecdotes and memorabilia relating to the early life of King.

Stained glass workshop

LEWISTON — Jim Nutting of Maine Art Glass will be at Lewiston Adult Education from 5 to 8 p.m.
Tuesday, July 21, to instruct an introductory level stained glass
workshop. Members of the community are invited to try
their hand at the art of stained glass as they create a one-of-a-kind
candle shelter to take home.

The workshop costs $15, plus a $15
