LIVERMORE FALLS — Selectmen will hold a public hearing at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Town Office on a proposal to increase the time restriction on parking  on downtown portions of Depot and Main streets.

Town Manager Jim Chaousis was among the people who did a walking review last week of areas laid out in the parking ordinance. Business owners said that the current one-hour limit is difficult for customers coming to their businesses, Chaousis said.

He is proposing that selectmen increase parking to two hours on a temporary parking order. The areas suggested to implement the new limit are from the corner of Bridge and Main streets to the railroad tracks on Depot Street.
