CANTON — The Lakehills Styles Salon, operated by stylist Nichole Goding has opened for business in downtown Canton across from the Post Office on Route 140. It is the first new business in Canton in roughly 10 years. The opening was celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony officiated by members of the River Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Goding has two stations and is open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Stylist Brandy St. Laurent will be joining her in September. Stylist Kelly Jo Couture operates the shop on Monday.
Goding leases her space from Malcolm Ray, who uses the adjoining space in the building he has renovated for his engineering business.
