TURNER — Josh Tainter was 3-for-3 and Ryan Jackson belted a pair of doubles as Andy Valley shelled Mechanic Falls with a 14-1 victory in an American Legion baseball game Sunday.
Kolin Gauthier, who also had a pair of singles and RBI, got the win on the mound, limiting Andy Valley to just three hits. Andy Valley used a 12-hit attack and made no errors.
Zack Keene, and Kevin Gats each had two singles. Mechanic Falls finished the season at 3-16 and Andy Valley (7-12) will play Tuesday in the next round of playoff games.
