Auburn Edwina Russell-Ballou, 53 of Norway died Thursday evening at the Hospice House in Auburn.

She was born in Lewiston, April 11, 1956 the daughter of Edwin and Sylvia May Dell Russell. She graduated from Oxford Hills high School in the Class of 1974. Edwina worked as the office manager for the Soil and Water Conservation District and then as assistant manager of the deli at Hannaford Supermarket. She enjoyed going shopping and collecting Boyd’s Bears. On August 18, 1990 she married Jeff Ballou.

She is survived by her husband of Norway, a daughter Toni M. Martin of Norway and a son Dan M. Patten, Jr. of South Paris; a brother Leonard and his wife Carol Russell of Norway; a sister Ramona Moore of Norway, 8 grandchildren Jacob Ruokolainen, Marie Martin, Naomi Martin, Peter Tavares, Connor Patten, Elizabeth Lussier, Christopher Kist and Emily Kist; 2 nephews Thom and Tyler Moore. She was predeceased by a son Jeremy Patten.
