AUGUSTA (AP) — The average price of heating oil in Maine has risen 4 cents a gallon in the state’s latest weekly survey.
According to the Office of Energy Independence and Security, the statewide average for oil was $2.28 a gallon on Monday.
Northern Maine had the highest prices, while the lowest prices were found in southwestern Maine.
The average price of kerosene rose 2 cents a gallon, to $2.71.
