LISBON — Nicole Miner, 25, of Lewiston, a passenger in a car driven by her husband, Eric, also 25, suffered facial injuries in a three-vehicle crash on Route 196 on Monday afternoon.

She was taken to Central Maine Medical Center by Lisbon Emergency.

Lisbon police Sgt. Harry Moore said the couple’s 2-year-old son, who was strapped in a child safety seat in the rear, suffered no apparent injury.

According to Moore, a Downeast Energy propane truck driven by Shawn Quagliaroli, 34, of Lewiston was stopped for a vehicle turning onto Farwell Street in Lisbon. Miner was stopped behind the propane truck.

Moore said that a third vehicle driven by Nicole Davis, 26, also of Lewiston, apparently failed to see the stopped vehicles and struck the rear of Miner’s car, pushing it into the propane truck.

Miner’s 2003 Oldsmobile Alero was demolished. Moore estimated damage to the front of Davis’ 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe at $5,000, and said there was only minor damage to the rear of the 2003 propane truck in the 3:30 p.m. crash, which remains under investigation.
