LEWISTON — The Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce will host a monthly Brown Bag Roundtable Discussion event for its members on Aug. 5 from noon to 1:15 p.m. at the chamber office, 415 Lisbon St., Lewiston.

Members can bring their questions (and their lunch) and learn from other members by sharing information, knowledge and experiences through informal discussions on a variety of business-related topics. At the event, facilitator Dr. Brooke Ritvo will present “Heart Health, A Personal and Business Issue.”

Heart disease is a problem people can do something about. The American Heart Association recommends heart attack prevention begin by age 20, encompassing the entire workforce. This means assessing health risk factors and working to keep them low.

Ritvo work for Central Maine Heart Associates. Prior to beginning her work in Maine last year, Ritvo practiced for six years as an electrophysiologist with Arrhythmia and Pacemaker Consultants in West Orange, N.J.

There is no charge for this brown bag seminar; however, attendees are asked to register on the chamber Web site at www.androscoggincounty.com, call the chamber at 783-2249, or e-mail sschell@androscoggincounty.com to reserve a space.
