The Salem Founders Day is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 11 at the Salem Community Building. A yard sale will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with the quilt show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Games for all ages begin at 1:30 p.m. Games include a fry pan throw, hay bale toss, sack race and many more. At 3 p.m. there will be a whatever auction (whatever is donated). From 4 to 6 p.m. there will be a bean-hole bean supper with hot dogs, homemade salads, rolls and desserts, followed by a pie eating contest at 6 p.m. and music by A&E Hill Country.
