Gladys M. Thibodeau
1926 – 2009
AUBURN — Gladys M. Thibodeau, 82, a resident of 34 Howard St., Lewiston, died early Sunday, July 26, at the Hospice House after a short illness.
She was born in Frenchville, Nov. 16, 1926, the daughter of Henry and Azilda Gaudreau.
She had resided in Perham for 27 years, and moved to this area with her family in 1974.
She was most proud of her nine sons and devoted her whole life to them. Her favorite hobby was knitting and crocheting for her family.
Survivors include six sons, Daniel L. Thibodeau and wife, Patricia, of Wade, Jerry S. Thibodeau of Lewiston, Justin H. Thibodeau and wife, Ruth, of Turner, Ricky L. Thibodeau and companion, Susan Harper, of Brunswick, Timothy L. Thibodeau of Lewiston and Thomas L. Thibodeau and wife, Therese, of Fayette; two brothers, Louis Gaudreau and wife, Shirley, and Leon Gaudreau and wife, Mary Jane, all of Connecticut; one half brother, Maurice Gaudreau of Pala Alto, Fla.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by three sons, Irving M. Thibodeau, Clay E. Thibodeau and Jonathan J. Thibodeau.
