Aline E. Adams ‘Jenkins’
1949 – 2009
LEWISTON — Aline E. Adams “Jenkins,” 59, of Shawmut Street, Lewiston, died Tuesday, July 28, at Central Maine Medical Center with her family at her side.
She was born in Lewiston, Nov. 23, 1949, a daughter of the late Maurice and Lorette (Dube) Lemay.
She married Sterling Adams in November 1977. He predeceased her in March 1994. She worked for many years at local shoe shops as a stitcher.
She enjoyed doing all sorts of crafts and helping her sister call bingo and finding humor in impossible situations, but her true love was spending time with all of her family and friends.
She leaves a daughter. Christine Clark and her husband, Dale, of Lewiston; three sons, Michael Moreau and life partner, James Duddy, of Saco, Scott Moreau and his wife, Jennifer, of Auburn and Jay Jenkins and his wife, Laura, of Wales; her little treasures, eight grandchildren, Briana, Nicholas and Brannon Moreau, Bayley Abendroth, Sahleina Jenkins, Callie Cullinan, Jessie and Cam Jenkins; her little angel, great-granddaughter, Madilyn Moreau; two brothers, Leo Lemay and his companion, Sue McKay, of Sabattus and Richard Lemay and his wife, Gayle, of Minot; two sisters, Lucille Robichaud and her husband, Moe, of Greene and Anita Austin and her husband, Mark, of Sabattus; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Raymond Lemay.
Her family would like to send a very special thank-you to her incredible nurse Kim Spugnardi, her special angel Rose, Dr. Doug Smith and his nurses, Beth and Liz and all the nursing staff at CMMC, for all the care and compassion they gave to Aline.
