READFIELD — The Readfield Community Library is planning two community events during Heritage Days.
A library book sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at the fire station. There will be used books, CDs, DVDs and videos. Patrons may bring their own cloth bag or purchase an official Readfield Heritage canvas tote available at the book sale.
All proceeds will benefit the library.
A juggling workshop will take place from 11 to 11:45 a.m. that Saturday at the town hall, second floor. The library will sponsor Matt Tardy’s Juggling Workshop. There is room for more than 50 participants to learn or improve their juggling skills. Those wishing to attend should meet at the town hall directly after the parade.
Tardy is a member of the juggling duo, Two! Originally from Buckfield, he trained there in the art of comedy, juggling and live performance. He has studied with Mime Master Tony Montanaro. For more information, visit www.matthewtardy.com.
