Virginia W. Norris
NEW SHARON — Funeral services for Virginia W. Norris, “Ginny”, were held Thursday from the New Sharon United Methodist Church with the Rev. Karen Garcia officiating. Organist was Robert Peary. Congregational hymns included “Jesus Loves Me,” “In The Garden” and “The Old Rugged Cross.” Burial was at the Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Civic Center Drive. Pallbearers were her three sons, Robert Norris, Russell Norris and Mark Norris and grandsons, Chris Norris, Scott Norris, Heman Norris III and Thomas Anderson. After services, the UMW hosted a comfort meal in the church vestry. Arrangements were in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center, Farmington.
