The Poland Players with a cast of 12 performed Shakespeare’s "Romeo and Juliet" on the lawn of the Auburn Public Library on Monday. John Ponger of Poland, left, played Romeo and Kelsie Davidson of Oxford was Juliet. In back, center, are Joshlyn Galarneau of Poland as Lady Montague and Natasha Johnson of Poland, right, as Lady Capulet. About 100 theater lovers were treated to a classic play sitting on lawn chairs and blankets at sunset. The Poland Players perform free in parks and libraries throughout Oxford and Androscoggin counties. "We love to perform, share the humor and the language of Shakespeare, and bring theater to the people," producer D’Arcy Robinson said.
