RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for John Marcellino, Sr. was celebrated at 1 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 3, at Parish of the Holy Savior. Rev. Alfred Jacques was the celebrant. George Gionet was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Here I Am Lord,” “Fly Like A Bird,” “Ave Maria” and “Wind Beneath My Wings.” Readings were done by Frank DiConzo and Ted DesVeaux.

The eulogies were given by his granddaughter Beth McVetty and his grandson Scott Marcellino. Pallbearers were Frank DiConzo, Rick Kidder, Joey Marcellino, David Martel, Robbie Martel and Chris Marian. Interment was in St. John Cemetery. Military honors were rendered by the Maine Military Funeral Honors Program. A reception followed in St. Theresa’s Parish Hall. Relatives and friends may pay tribute to John at www.mem.com.
