PERU — The Worthley Pond Association annual Christmas in July event winners at Worthley Pond have been announced.
The winners for the camp competition were: first, the Buskey family; second, the Hamann family; third, the Gorham family.
Winners for the best boats were: first, the Reno family; second, Tardiff family; third, Bruce Eastman family.
Judges were Shannon Moss, morning anchor for Channel 8, and her husband, Andy Haggerty, Portland Police Department.
Many camps were decorated and the SnowShoe Club Campground participated with activities, games and prizes for the kids. There was an adult jail and the snack bar was open. From 5 to 9:30 Tony and Trishia Belskis provided live music for dancing.
