A local student was among the 502 graduates awarded diplomas at Denison University’s 168th commencement held May 17 in Granville, Ohio. Katherine Anne Jones of Poland Spring was awarded a bachelor of arts degree.
Jones graduated with a sociology/anthropology major. A dean’s list student, she received the Heritage Scholarship. Jones served as assistant costume designer for Denison’s production of “Cato at the Bakehouse Near Headquarters” and studied abroad with Arcadia University’s Center for Education Abroad at the Academia Italiana, in Florence, Italy.
