AUBURN — An Auburn bicyclist was injured Monday in a collision with an SUV at Goff and Court streets.

Officer David Madore of the Auburn Police Department said Logan Scott Fields-Morris, 17, was taken to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston after the 3:20 p.m. accident. A report on his condition was not available as of early Tuesday morning.

The driver of the SUV was identified as Dezaray L. Deburra, 17, of Poland.

Madore said Fields-Morris had bruises to the right side of his face and a cut over his right eye, and complained of pain to his ribs and right side. According to the accident report filed by Madore, Fields-Morris was crossing Court Street at Goff Street near the Auburn Police Station. A witness reported that Fields-Morris was looking to the left up Goff Hill but failed to look right toward the westbound lanes of Court Street. Deburra was headed up Goff Hill.

Damage to the bike was listed at $80; to the 1988 GMC SUV driven by Deburra and owned by Gino Deburra of Poland, $500.
