Karen Flagg, left, chairwoman of the Committee of Women’s Activities
from Androscoggin Grange 8 in Greene, recently presented three dozen
pillowcases to Beverly Saves, right, a representative of the Barbara
Bush Children’s Hospital in Portland. Flagg donated her time and
materials for the ConKerr Cancer project as part of a Grange community
service project. The ConKerr Cancer mission is to brighten the lives of
sick children in hospitals with homemade pillowcases.
