DIXFIELD — The Main Street Outdoor Market with booths lined up all along the street in a block party atmosphere will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16.
Booths will offer food, hand-crafted items, collectibles, raffle tickets, memorabilia and local products such as maple syrup. Political parties will be present along with groups raising money for local causes.
The Dixfield Historical Society will be open that day with a special saddlery display. Road races will be held, starting at the gazebo on the Village Green. Prizes will be given in several categories for the 9 a.m. adult race and the 9:30 a.m. fun run for youth with or without parents or co-runners. Registration is the morning of the race, starting at 7:15. For more information on the races, call 562-7172.
The Main Street Outdoor Market will be held rain or shine.
