PARIS — The Paris Public Library’s annual book sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays, July 25 and Aug. 1, with the bag sale on Saturday, Aug. 8. The sale will be held again this year at the old Paris Farmers’ Union building, corner of Skillings Avenue and Main Street, South Paris.
Proceeds from the sale, featuring thousands of titles, in the past have been used to purchase new children’s book for the library’s collection. The price for most hardcover and trade paperback books will be $1 each, and most mass market paperbacks 25 cents each. The bag sale will feature a regular plastic shopping bag of books for $1 each.
Donations for the sale are still welcome and may be left at the library when it is open or may be picked up by arrangement. The Paris Public Library is open Monday and Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
For more information, contact the library at 743-6994 or e-mail paris.public.library@MSLN.net.
