DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — A conservative group says it will air advertising
targeting Republican senators in Iowa, Maine and Wyoming who are negotiating
with Democrats on a health care plan.

The Club for Growth’s television ads call for voters to tell Sens. Chuck
Grassley, Olympia Snowe and Mike Enzi not to “cave into the liberals on health
care.”

Club President Chris Chocola says the organization believes health care moves
being considered in Congress would be too expensive.

Grassley has argued it would be irresponsible not to join in discussions,
saying “If you’re not at the table, you’re on the menu.”

The latest commercial is the third the group has sponsored as part of a $1.2
million national campaign.
