RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Joan C. Howe of Hanover were celebrated Tuesday at Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius-St. John Church, Rumford, with the Rev. Alfred Jacques as celebrant. Altar assistant was George Gionet and organist was Mark Belanger. Music selections included “Because the Lord is My Shepherd,” “Be Not Afraid,” “Ave Maria” and “On Eagle’s Wings.” Readings were given by Robert Ouimette and Arthur Meader. Eulogy was given by Linda Magdaleno. Committal services were conducted by the Rev. Jacques. Interment was in the Hanover Cemetery, Hanover. Pallbearers were Ryan Howe, Mathew Howe, Kevin Howe, Steven Howe, John Howe and William Howe. A reception followed in the Parish hall of St. Athanasius-St. John Church. Arrangements were under the direction of the Meader & Son Funeral Home.
