FARMINGTON — The annual End of Summer Hoorah! Automobile/Motorcycle Show is gearing up for this weekend at the Farmington Fairgrounds.

The show takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with awards in 28 classes. Rick Gray of the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce, the sponsor of the event, said judges will decide the winners. Gates open to the public at 9 a.m. Saturday for a day of music, food, raffles and more.

The Farmington Rotary Club’s afternoon social, barbecue and auction takes place from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Auctioneers Adrian and Jeff Harris will start the bidding with proceeds benefiting the club’s community projects.

Motorcyclists are invited to a Motorcycle Raffle Run Sunday leaving the fairgrounds about 9 a.m. for a ride through the western mountains and afternoon lunch stop in Rangeley. Cash prizes are drawn at every stop. A breakfast can be purchased by participants at the fairgrounds before the run.
