BETHEL — The Western Chapter of the Small Woodland Owners Association of Maine will hold its annual field day Saturday, Aug. 22, at the home and farm of Al Stevens and family off the Intervale Road.
Registration starts at 8 a.m. with coffee and doughnuts. The program begins at 9 a.m. Several activities are planned for children, including bug walks and a scavenger hunt. The day’s program features woodlot tours, equipment demos, hikes and hayrides. Free prizes will be given out.
The Stevens farm is 3.5 miles from Bethel on the Intervale Road. Signs will be posted.
