LEWISTON — The Lewiston High School Class of 1959 held its 50th reunion on Aug. 8 and 9 at the Carriage House Plus on Lisbon Street. There were 131 in attendance, including 77 classmates.

Reunion Chairwoman Pauline Caron Douglas was in charge of the program, which included a special PowerPoint presentation honoring the lives of 54 deceased classmates.

DJ Rick Thibodeau provided music and awarded gift certificates to classmates who were able to answer trivia questions about the class.

Some classmates made and donated handmade items for prizes. Winners were Linette McKeone Bechard, Richard Beaulieu, Helen Patry Bilodeau, Claire Breault Levesque, Norm Bilodeau, Patricia Dubay Dwyer, Andre Deshaies, Raymond Beaudoin, Alice Harding LeBrecque, Sr. Claire Lepage, A. Daniel Keneborus, Irene Stone Laplante, Anita Lizotte Villemaire, Constance Veilleux Wills and Brenda Milasauskis Rivet.

A souvenir reunion booklet listing names of classmates and contact information was compiled by Charles Douglas and presented to all classmates in attendance.
