Dear Sun Spots: We enjoy reading Sun Spots every day; first thing we do is turn to that page. Keep up the good work, it’s very informative. In Monday’s paper there was a picture of Lenny Breau’s daughter and next to her the lady looked like his dear mom, Betty Cody. Please let us know, it was a beautiful picture of both of them. — No Name, Lewiston.

Answer: It was in fact Betty Cody, mother of Lenny Breau, in the picture with Emily Breau Hughes, daughter of Lenny Breau. They were both in attendance at a tribute concert for Breau at Festival Plaza in Auburn on Aug. 16.

Dear Sun Spots: The Plex Movie Channel still lists movies, but their format is completely different. What is going on? — No Name, Lewiston.

Answer: MoviePlex shows a different movie genre each day. It is an Encore Channel movie service that highlights a different Encore theme channel each day of the week, from drama to westerns, action to love stories.

Dear Sun Spots: I tried e-mail, but snail mail will prevail. This is my first time. I am looking for the female hippo from the Red Rose Tea figurines. I have others to trade from the same group or the Pet Shop.

Second, I found a class ring from Mt. Blue High School. It has “1992 – Jenn” on the side and “Jennifer L. Magno” or “Magro” on the inside. Contact me at grybeard@myfairpoint.net. — No Name, Rumford.
